The TEMCo TH0036 ratcheting cable cutter can cut aluminum wire up to 1000 MCM (500mm²) and copper wire up to 750 MCM. This cutter is a non-insulated tool. Do NOT use on live conductors. Wear eye protection during use. For use with Copper & Aluminum electrical wire only (such as building wire). Do NOT cut steel. Do NOT use with finely stranded cable, such as welding cable, etc.

I used it to cut 600kcmil wires. I cutted about 30 of them. The cutter still out performed it is very strong and less effort to cut compare to other company's. I'm satisfied with the product
