Solid as Steel!!
You get what you pay for. You pay for these and you get one heavy duty crimper! Excellent quality, and excellent tool. The ergonomics are great, extra set of seals just incase, two sets of each die (4 not 2 of each die) and solid construction.

Hydraulic Crumpler TH0005
I purchased this crimper to create heavy duty battery cables for my trawler and heavy AC power cables for the generator supply lines to the distribution panel. The unit worked very well, and was easy to use. Having the slightly larger “+” sizes dies came in handy with the Anchor brand marine lugs. They are a bit thicker than the normal lugs and with the normal size die they are a bit over crimped. Clearly the company knows this and supplies the slightly larger dies to get the job done perfectly. This is the attention to detail I am looking for in a tool. If I am going to do the job, I want it done right. Especially in the case of the electrical supply lines in a boat my family travels on. High quality product that includes about any crimp die you could ever want/need. There will be no buyer’s remorse with the purchase of this unit.

Th0005 lug crimper
I have to say right out the box the product is beyond my expectations it’s a solid tool and gives solid crimps it’s really just like you have just solder the connection instead of crimping it. Thank you again for another good product.

Solid tool! Excellent crimps!
Overall great tool. I had problems at first getting the crimper to reach terminal pressure. The resistance while pumping would increase, but I could keep pumping even after dies had closed. I contacted customer service who suggested I try using a pair of pliers to tighten the close valve an extra quarter turn and that did the trick. After that it worked fine with just hand tightening. Only thing I'm a little confused by is that they send an extra set of seals, but the manual has no instructions on how to replace and says tool should only be serviced by certified Tempco technician.

Worked perfectly
This hydraulic cable lug crimper worked perfectly. I used the recommended die for my wire/terminal, and it makes perfect crimps every time. Very easy to use.

I looked at several crimpers before selecting this one. Upon opening the case it was obvious the quality exceeded my expectation. This is truly an example of you get what you pay for. The customer service was superior and it delivered as promised. I will purchase from TEMCo in the future and highly suggest you do the same.

Nice crimper - missing 3/0 dia
Knew I had a motor home battery re wire job coming up. Ordered this crimper ahead of time to be ready. Started this morning - a few 3/0 crimps are required - there is NO 3/0 dia included. Not sure if there is a work around or not. Kind of disappointed. Otherwise quality test crimps were made using 1/0 dia and braided lightning grounding cable. Still may order a few of these for my work as they do make a great crimp with the correct size dia.
